Series 1 (1981)

The Trotter saga began in 1981 with Rodney leaving the business for Hong Kong. There are also curry wars, the onset of World War 3, and a bus tour of interest to no-one.

Series 2 (1982)

In Series 2, Rodney first reveals his love for a woman in uniform - if only it wasn't a policewoman he's after! There's also trouble with a chandelier, and Grandad is imprisoned - in Spain!

Series 3 (1983)

A fishing trip takes a turn for the worse: has Del had his chips? There's also plenty of bother from Detective Roy Slater, kerfuffle with a canary, and Rodney's promoted - to become Chairman of the Residents' Association.

Series 4 (1985)

Life changes dramatically for the brothers Trotter, with the death of their beloved Grandad shaking Nelson Mandela House to its core. But fret not, for Trotter-shaped mayhem is never far off when Grandad's brother, the old sea dog Uncle Albert, arrives on the scene...

Series 5 (1986)

Del's enterprising spirit ramps up from Series 5: he gets involved in the sale of babies, exploits a holy miracle at a local church, and gets into the film business. His cruel streak also makes more than a bit of a showing when Rodney falls for the daughter of an aristocrat...

The Frog's Legacy (1987)

The seeds of paternal doubt begin to be sewn in Rodney's mind. Just who was Freddy the Frog? And was a stash of gold bullion his only legacy?

Dates (1988)

Never normally an advisable idea, Del follows Trigger's example by joining a dating agency. Rodney, too, seems to be finally having some romantic luck with a barmaid at the Nag's Head.

Series 6 (1989)

Del's finally gone the whole-hog and embraced the yuppy lifestyle. Rodney, meanwhile, has fallen in love with Cassandra, a fellow pupil on a night school course. Business is as dodgy as ever, but are the boys' personal lives finally on the up?

Series 7 (1990 - 1991)

True love isn't quite running smoothly for Rodney and Cassandra. He's back at Nelson Mandela House, squeezing inbetween a heavily pregnant Raquel, Del, and Uncle Albert...

Miami Twice (1991)

Double-part Christmas saga in which Del and Rodney end up unwitting pawns in the plans of a Miami mafia family. Will they ever make it back to England alive?

Mother Nature's Son (1992)

As Rodney develops an interest in the environment, Del also becomes suspiciously keen on preserving Grandad's allotment. He couldn't possibly have another scheme in mind - could he?

Fatal Extraction (1993)

With Rodney and Cassandra back together, and trying for a baby, the inevitable happens: Del and Raquel split up. Hopefully it'll only be a temporary arrangement, but Del's attentions are drawn to another woman...

1996 Christmas Trilogy (1996 - 1997)

Del makes contact with the parents Raquel lost touch with years ago. The seemingly selfless act could have far more impact than he'd ever dreamt. This time next year, they might just be millionaires...

The Final Specials (2001 - 2003)

Following their earlier, heartbreaking miscarriage, Cassie and Rodney are finally expecting a healthy baby. But money worries are back after a stock market crash, and the boys have a bit of trouble after visiting France to pay tribute to Uncle Albert and his shipmates. What does the future have in store for the Trotter family?
