Surprise shindigs, first dates and self-tapes are on Richard's 'to do' list but things are never that simple when his dad, Ken, is in the mix.
Richard embarks on a journey to gather together some of Ken's nearest and dearest for his surprise 75th birthday party. However, tracking down the elusive Brian - Ken's oldest friend whom he lost touch with years ago - proves quite the challenge.
As well as party-planning on the sly; Richard's self-tape audition for a major role is troublesome and he's lost for words when Emily admits she's going on a date with a guy called Dave.
