Further details
A play is being performed about Victor! We soon discover the Meldrews' cleaner, Katy, has been so inspired by the weird and wonderful events she has witnessed at their home that she's written a play. But will anyone buy it?
Jean's nerves are set off when she is unwittingly sat on in the bath by Victor, much to the horror of both parties. There's been rumour locally of a love tryst at a nearby chip shop, and her evening is compounded when she discovers the proof!
Chip shop owner Enrico is soon asking for Victor's help, who helps him write a letter to an agony aunt, which confuses Jean no end. Still, at least with Katy's recommendation of a specialist hypnotherapist she can have her missing crown replaced without any pain or fuss...
