The serial killer is showing no signs of slowing down, while local racial tensions are also running high when an Asian woman is killed in a suspected racist attack. Joy has to prove she has what it takes in her new role as Sergeant by finding the man who murdered her.

Local woman Sameena Hassan has died in a suspected racist arson attack on her home. The prime suspect is local racist, Jimmy Webb, who resembles a man seen buying petrol on CCTV shortly before the attack. The team go undercover at his own wedding to bring him in.

Having finally been allowed back on the serial killer case the race is on for Deering and the team to stop him - particularly as psychologist Dr Peep is convinced he's missed his fix, meaning he may be ready to strike again.
