Alf Butler is a greengrocer but he has invested money in a hairdressers as well. He is worried about how badly the salon is doing so he decides to employ a new manageress in order to shake it up. He gets a big shock when she succeeds in turning it around much quicker than he expected and threatens his role as the boss.
