Life at Hoffman Pressburger isn't so different to many other companies. On the one side you have management in the form of Frank Lazenby, who privately refers to the workforce as swine. The opposite side has it's own unsavoury character in union shop steward, Mr Blundell, a man who can recite the 1961 Factories Act in bible fashion. But, stuck in the middle and trying to keep the peace, is the luckless Edwin, the Labour Relations Officer, who is accountable to both sides for their bad behaviour.
