American comedian Ellyn Daniels has made The Show, a dark television comedy drama about performing at the Edinburgh Fringe.
BBC Two has ordered a second series of Mandy, the comedy created by and starring Diane Morgan. Filming is underway, with guest stars set to include Anna Maxwell Martin, Nick Mohammed, Sir Tom Courtenay, Alexei Sayle and Nigel Planer.
Outnumbered creators Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin are writing a comedy about next year's World Cup - featuring little plastic footballers.

Peep Show creators Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong began writing a female version of the Channel 4 sitcom, Isy Suttie has confirmed.
Channel Dave is reviving The Mash Report. Eight hour-long episodes of Late Night Mash, with Nish Kumar hosting, will be broadcast this autumn.
