Derry Girls' Nicola Coughlan is to co-star in a new Channel 4 comedy, Big Mood. The six-part series focuses on a female friendship when infiltrated by the complexities of a serious mental illness.
Brennan Reece and actor Dawn Sievewright are piloting Step 9, an anarchic BBC Three comedy drama about "real, flawed people" in alcoholism recovery in Glasgow, with the pair writing and co-starring.

Channel 4 has commissioned The Joe Lycett Live Show, a late-night series for Friday nights from Birmingham in which the stand-up performs comedy and welcomes celebrities, "local legends, LGBTQ+ heroes and allies".
