The BBC has cancelled a variety of sitcoms, including The Wright Way and Getting On, whilst commissioner Shane Allen has warned against Twitter reactions.
BBC Four has ordered a six-part sitcom series called Puppy Love. The show is written by and will star Joanna Scanlan and Vicki Pepperdine.
After the broadcast of just one episode, BBC Two has announced the recommission of new sitcom Count Arthur Strong.

E4 has ordered eight more episodes of its South London-based comedy drama, Youngers.
