Original Horrible Histories team become Ghosts

BBC One has announced a new sitcom about a group of ghosts, created, written by and starring the original Horrible Histories group of leads, Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond.
Inside No. 9 to return for live special

Ahead of the fifth series of Inside No. 9, Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton will film a special Halloween episode of their show, to be broadcast 'live' on BBC Two in October.
Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan return for Roast Battle Series 2

Roast Battle is to return to Comedy Central for a second series, with Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan (but not Russell Brand). Carr and Ryan have also signed up to a Netflix panel show.
Dad's Army blue plaque to be unveiled

Dad's Army's golden anniversary is to be marked next month with a new blue plaque in Thetford, Norfolk, where location filming for the sitcom took place. The sitcom's vicar, Frank Williams, will unveil it on 21st July.

Channel 4 has ordered Home, a sitcom series written by and starring Rufus Jones. The comedy was piloted in 2017 as part of the Comedy Blaps strand.
