High Hoops to return to CBBC for Series 2

High Hoops, the basketball-based comedy starring Robert Webb and Isy Suttie, has been commissioned for a second series.
The news has been announced as Series 1 is launched today. The ten episodes are now on BBC iPlayer, and the series begins on CBBC at 6:25pm.
The show focuses on Aoife (played by Darci Hull), a charmingly reckless high school basketball player and her chaotic pursuit of success, fame, love and the perfect hook shot. Robert Webb plays headteacher Mr Holt, Isy Suttie plays Aoife's mum BrĂd and Line Of Duty star Nigel Boyle is basketball coach Jim.

Filmed in Halifax, the BBC notes "High Hoops demonstrates the BBC's commitment to backing homegrown talent, creativity and storytelling".
