Comedy Central Live is returning to linear television, with sets from Chris McCausland, Judi Love and Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner Amy Gledhill among others, British Comedy Guide can exclusively reveal.
Four episodes from the fourth series of the stand-up showcase, consisting of six or seven comics, will air on Comedy Central early next year, compiled from 30 five-minute digital episodes.
The five-minute sets are also being shared on the channel's YouTube and Facebook pages, beginning with a digital-only performance from John Tothill on 30th December.
That will be followed on successive Mondays by digital-only sets from Mary O'Connell, Limahl Germain, Hannah Platt and Marjolein Robertson.
Dates for the television broadcast of Comedy Central Live have yet to be confirmed. But Strictly Come Dancing winner McCausland and Gledhill will appear in an episode with Jack Skipper, Ola Labib, Kane Brown and Amy Matthews.
Love features alongside Pierre Novellie, Sunil Patel, Kyrah Gray, Jin Hao Li, Michael Odewale and Joshua Bethania.
Sarah Keyworth is joined by Josh Jones, Eshaan Akbar, Elliot Steel, Eddie Kadi and Sharon Wanjohi.
And Emmanuel Sonubi appears with Alasdair Beckett-King, Helen Bauer, Sikisa, Kemah Bob and George Lewis.
Recorded at the Pleasance Theatre in London for the third year running, Comedy Central Live has aired 120 episodes since it re-launched in 2022 as a digital-only series.
Comedy Central previously aired a one-off, 2018 recording from the Comedy Central Live Festival in Southampton and nine 30-minute sets from the likes of Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Fin Taylor, Sofie Hagen, Iain Stirling and Darren Harriott under the same title the following year.
The latest series is once again produced by Michael Currell for Off The Kerb Productions (Rob Beckett: Wallop, Josh Widdicombe: Bit Much...), with Iestyn Barker and Amie Parker-Williams serving as executive producers for Comedy Central and Andy Leitch for Off The Kerb. The series was commissioned by Cat Collins, vice-president for digital at MTV Entertainment Group International.
