- TV stand-up special Janey Godley: Still Got It will air on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday 18th December

BBC Scotland will air Janey Godley: Still Got It, a stand-up show the comedian filmed in 2022 whilst undergoing treatment for cancer.
The BBC explains: "Filmed in 2022 at Glasgow's Websters Theatre during her chemotherapy treatment, Janey Godley faces up to her mistakes in a hilarious, touching and scorchingly honest stand-up comedy performance.
"This show was a landmark moment in her life and career. Time in recovery and isolation gave Janey a new perspective on how she lived her life, on how fragile people can be, and that maybe she does care about what others think of her."
Godley, who had been performing comedy since 1994, died on 2nd November in a hospice, aged 63.
Her Still Got It performance at Websters Theatre, which was recorded by Dabster Productions, was previously aired as a stand-up special on Radio 4 in June 2022. The 30 minute special is still available to listen to on BBC Sounds
The new BBC Scotland broadcast - which will air on the channel and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday 18th December 2024 at 10:30pm - will be a 50 minute version of the show.
