Greg Davies is returning to host a revamped Never Mind The Buzzcocks later this year, as the music panel quiz introduces new rounds, British Comedy Guide can exclusively reveal.

Back for a fourth series on Sky Max and a 32nd series since it began on BBC Two in 1996, filming will take place this summer.

"We can't wait for the return of Never Mind The Buzzcocks later this year" Shirley Jones, commissioning editor for Sky told BCG. "Greg Davies is back to wrangle the teams and a whole host of the best names in music are poised to battle it out across your favourite rounds, intros at the ready. Expect mayhem, madness and a few surprises ... Let the chaos commence!"

BCG understands that the return of team captains Noel Fielding and Daisy May Cooper, as well as regular panellist Jamali Maddix, is yet to be confirmed despite their advertised presence on ticketing website Lost In TV, nor has the exact nature of the format shake-up been finalised.
