This who's who of British comedy will keep viewers entertained late into the night."

A raft of stand-up comedians are taking part in the show, including Ellie Taylor, Danny Beard, Nish Kumar, Sara Barron, Thanyia Moore, Bobby Mair, Harriet Kemsley, Fatiha El-Ghorri and Larry Dean.

The episode will be part of a night of Stand Up To Cancer-linked programming on Friday 3rd November, starting at 7pm with a live show from London in which Davina McCall, Adam Hills, Joe Lycett and Munya Chawawa "take over the awe-inspiring Francis Crick Institute, a renowned hub for pioneering biomedical research, to celebrate the staggering breakthroughs in cancer research made possible by SU2C donations".

The opening show is billed: "Hilarious comedy talent and celebrity supporters of the campaign join forces to bang the drum for SU2C, and HRH the Prince of Wales pays a heartfelt tribute to Bowelbabe, the late Dame Deborah James."

Celebrity Googlebox For SU2C will air at 8:30pm and 9:30pm, with the final of challenge show Don't Look Down at 9pm. The night will also include a repeat of Sean Lock: Lockipedia Live at 11:30pm and a repeat of a documentary hosted by Gilbert that will be first shown on 30th October.

Documentary Rhod Gilbert: A Pain In The Neck For SU2C will debut on Channel 4 on 30th October at 9pm.

Channel 4 explains: "In June 2022 comedian Rhod Gilbert was diagnosed with head and neck cancer, caused by a virus known as HPV. This intimate, inspiring and - yes - humorous documentary follows him through 18 months of hope and hell as he confronts his illness.

"It powerfully captures the raw reality of living with a little-known cancer, shedding light on the challenges and raising awareness of the condition. Rhod shares his daunting journey from diagnosis, through initial surgery, to chemotherapy and radiotherapy with remarkable openness. Through intimate video diaries, we accompany him on all the ups and downs, share in the triumphant moment when he rings the end-of-treatment bell, and then the agonising wait to find out if his treatment has worked as he tries to pull his life back together. On top of everything he's dealing with, Rhod undertakes a personal challenge, not only to raise awareness of his condition and how it can be prevented in the future, but also to raise funds for the cancer hospital that played a pivotal role in saving his life."

The comedian previously appeared in a SU2C video during the National Comedy Awards to talk about his diagnosis.
