Filming for Series 2 of Big Boys, the award-winning Channel 4 comedy by Jack Rooke, has nearly completed.
The network confirms that cast members Dylan Llewellyn (Jack), Jon Pointing (Danny), Camille Coduri (Peggy), Katy Wix (Jules), Izuka Hoyle (Connie), Olisa Odele (Yemi), Harriett Webb (Cousin Shannon) and Annette Badland (Nanny Bingo) all return for the next six episodes.
Channel 4 say: "Series 2 takes the whole gang straight into the second year of Brent University 2014, where alongside dealing with virginity hang-ups, drug experimentation (both legal and otherwise) and Jack's obsession with Alison Hammond, this time round their degrees actually count!
"Meanwhile Jack's family continue to navigate their lives after his dad's passing, beginning just as much of a new chapter as the gang at university. And Danny gets to revisit his past as he learns how to better deal with his mental health issues."
Jack Rooke says: "Big Boys will start second year even dafter, sillier and BIGGER than before! Fresh from Derry Girls we have pinched Dylan Llewellyn back to play Jack, alongside BAFTA nominee Jon Pointing and recent BAFTA Scotland winner Izuka Hoyle as Danny & Corinne. The nations favourite gay icons Camille Coduri and Olisa Odele return to mischief as Peggy and Yemi. We've got more of the hilarious Harriett Webb as party planning Cousin Shannon with the legendary Annette Badland as Nan Bingo. And lastly, as I speak, I am watching Katy Wix in an orange polo shirt with a cheeky VK in one hand and a huge foam finger on the other. It is a dream come true!"
