Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont's Christmas Sleepover is returning to Channel 4 for the second year running, British Comedy Guide can exclusively reveal.
The pair will once again be joined by Romesh Ranganathan, whose company Ranga Bee Productions makes the hour-long festive special, as well as Tom Allen and Judi Love.
Eating, drinking and getting exceedingly merry during a night away from the post-Christmas, pre-New Year lull, the Richardsons and their guests will enjoy a boozy festive feast and look back at the year gone by, reflecting on the highs and lows with some surprise guests.
Airing during Christmas week, Jon & Lucy's Christmas Sleepover caps a year of collaboration between the couple and Channel 4, as the broadcaster has confirmed a second series for Beaumont's sitcom Hullraisers and the pair will co-host the upcoming panel show Jon And Lucy's Perfect Couples.
Richardson also piloted the travelogue Take My Mother-In-Law for Channel 4 last month, in which he and Beaumont's mother, Gill Isles, sought to find somewhere for her to retire to in Spain. And he remains a team captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
The prolific comedians will also be airing a fourth series of their mockumentary sitcom Meet The Richardsons on Dave next year and are currently performing benefit gigs at schools to raise money for families struggling with the cost of living crisis.
Some tickets are still available for their show for Cavendish Learning Trust schools in Derbyshire next week. And they are are appearing at the Noel Baker Academy in Alvaston, also in Derbyshire, on December 5th.
Rachel Swann, who chairs the governors at Netherthorpe School, part of the Cavendish Learning Trust Group, said: "We're aiming to get a minimum of £10k from ticket sales - and there are many families across the Trust who will benefit. Jon and Lucy have no links with Netherthorpe nor the area; they are very socially active and aware and have run something similar in Ecclesfield.
"Essentially they're looking to make positive, tangible contributions in areas where families need additional support. We came about them via another parent governor in one of the trust's schools responding to a tweet from Lucy."
