The regular hosting team for the upcoming third series of Channel 4's Stand Up For The Week has been announced.

Due to return in November, the new 6-part series will be hosted by Jon Richardson, who was a regular in Series 2 as the show's sport correspondent. That series was hosted by Kevin Bridges, who had himself covered sport in the Patrick Kielty-hosted first series.

Channel 4 commissioner Madeleine Knight said: "Stand Up For The Week continues to be a showcase for some of the country's best comedians and we're thrilled that Jon Richardson will step up to host the new series."

The other members of the new team to cover each week's news, celebrity gossip and politics will be Sara Pascoe, recently seen in Campus and Sky1 panel show Wall Of Fame; Paul Chowdhry; Seann Walsh; and Josh Widdicombe. Rich Hall, a regular in both series to date, will return to complete the weekly team.

Along with the new line-up, Open Mike-produced Stand Up For The Week will move to a new venue. Previously filmed in front of a live audience at the KOKO club in Camden, Series 3 will instead be recorded at the Clapham Grand.

Andrew Beint, executive producer of the series, commented: "Stand Up For The Week is an exciting fresh format which combines topical comedy with the atmosphere of a live stand up gig. For the third series we are thrilled to be working once again with new host Jon Richardson and regular Rich Hall, and welcome newcomers Seann, Josh, Sara and Paul to the Stand Up For The Week team."
