Broadcast Awards 2021 comedy nominees revealed

The nominees for the Broadcast Awards 2021 have been revealed. Organised by the TV trade magazine, the much sought-after awards feature a number of comedy-related shows in the shortlists.

Elsewhere in the awards, Hypothetical is nominated for Best Entertainment Programme alongside I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Strictly Come Dancing, The Masked Singer and The Wall.

The Rubbish World Of Dave Spud features in the Best Children's Programme category, whilst Waffle The Wonder Dog is listed in the Best Pre-School Programme shortlist.

The End Of The F***ing World is up for Best Drama Series, and the one-off documentary What's the Matter with Tony Slattery? has been picked out by the judges as a Best Specialist Factual Programme nominee.

The winners of the Broadcast Awards 2021 will be revealed on 27th May via a virtual awards show.
