Maya Jama has joined the regular line-up for Celebrity Juice.

The panel show, which returns next week for its 25th series on ITV2, is hosted by Leigh Francis in character as Keith Lemon, with current team captains Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore.

Atack and Whitmore joined as of autumn's twenty-fourth run of the hit comedy format, replacing previous regulars Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton.

Jama follows in the footsteps of Gino D'Acampo and Rufus Hound as a regular guest panellist, and is understood to be joining Emily's team.

Producers Talkback confirmed today: "TV presenter Maya will become a regular guest on the panel after multiple appearances in the last series in which she threw herself into everything Keith asked of her."

Maya Jama comments: "I never have any idea quite what's going to unfold on Celeb Juice, but I do know it's always going to be hilarious and super fun. It's a show I dreamed about going on when I was growing up and so I'm beyond thrilled to become a regular on the show and be given the opportunity to share the panel with some of my favourite people. Bang tidy!"

The 26 year-old Bristolian was just fourteen when the comedy first aired, in September 2008, and has to date appeared in five episodes, including three from Series 24.

She also appears as a regular team captain on the channel's other panel show, hip-hop-centric Don't Hate The Playaz, which aired its third series between October and December 2020.

The new 10-episode series of Celebrity Juice begins next Thursday, 8th April, at 10pm.
