Big Zuu Series 2 line-up announced
- Dave has announced the guests appearing in Big Zuu's Big Eats Series 2 next spring
- The show will feature James Acaster, Judi Love, Mo Gilligan, Mel Giedroyc, Natasia Demetriou, Rob Delaney and Rose Matafeo
- Non-comics Harry Redknapp, Jacob Anderson and Maya Jama will also appear
The line-up for the next series of Big Zuu's Big Eats has been revealed.
The cooking show follows grime artist and keen chef Big Zuu, with his best friends Tubsey and Hyder, preparing bespoke meals for celebrities from their own mobile kitchen van.
Series 2 will feature comedians James Acaster, Judi Love, Mo Gilligan, Mel Giedroyc, Natasia Demetriou, Rob Delaney and Rose Matafeo.
Its line-up will be completed by ex-football manager Harry Redknapp, actor Jacob Anderson, and presenter Maya Jama,
Series 1, broadcast from May to July this year, consisted of 10 episodes all featuring comedians. Although it attracted low ratings, Dave commissioned both a second series and two-part Christmas special based on its reach with audiences in the 16-34 age bracket.
The first Christmas episode, featuring other artists from the British grime music scene, aired on Friday night. A second, uniting five of the comics from Series 1 for a festive meal together, will air this week.
Big Zuu says: "I'm so gassed to be releasing a second series of Big Eats in 2021. To be cooking for some of the biggest names in music, sport and television, alongside my boys Tubsey and Hyder again is an amazing feeling. 2020 has been such a difficult year for everyone so hopefully the second series will bring some guaranteed happiness to 2021."
