Asim Chaudhry has piloted a character comedy series for Channel 4.
Written by and starring the People Just Do Nothing star, Coming To England follows the lives of three characters trying to make a new life in the UK.
Obnoxious Indian billionaire Rupert Khan has settled in London's Mayfair and barks demands at his personal assistant Sasha, played by Tessa Coates (Damned).
Another character Chaudhry has showcased on social media, and is believed to also feature, is lovelorn scientist Raj Delgado from Goa.
Shot in February and March, the pilot was directed by Alicia MacDonald (Pure, Flack) and produced by Simon Mayhew-Archer (This Country) for Sacha Baron Cohen and Andrew Newman's production company Spelthorne Community Television.
Chaudhry shared clips of Khan and Sasha from a previous pilot on the fictional billionaire's own Instagram page, although these have now been hidden.
Most recently seen as assassin Charles in Mel & Sue's Sky One comedy Hitmen, Chaudhry has reprised his role as chancer entrepreneur Chabuddy G for the People Just Do Nothing movie Big In Japan, provisionally set for an August cinema release.
He will also appear alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Claire Foy and Toby Jones in the artist biopic Louis Wain by Will Sharpe (Flowers), playing illustrator Herbert Railton.
Channel 4 declined to comment on Coming To England.
