Comedy actors and writers up for RTS Awards

- Phoebe Waller-Bridge leads the list of comedy related nominations in the Royal Television Society Awards 2020
- Fleabag, Derry Girls and Stath Lets Flats are up for the Scripted Comedy prize
- Aisling Bea, Tanya Moodie and Tim Renkow are shortlisted in the Breakthrough category
The list of nominees for the 2020 Royal Television Society (RTS) Programme Awards has been announced, with comedy performances and shows represented in a number of the shortlists, including all three spots in the Breakthrough category. Phoebe Waller-Bridge leads the list of comedy-related nominations, appearing in three of the categories.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by Paul Merton on Tuesday 17th March, at The Grosvenor Hotel in London.
