Sky One have announced that the upcoming series of A League Of Their Own will be fronted by an array of guest hosts.

With James Corden filming the Gavin & Stacey Christmas revival, he will only be able to front two episodes in the new Series 14, currently recording and due to air later this year.

A range of "friends of the show" will take to the host's chair for the remaining episodes in the series, including former panel regular Jack Whitehall.

Regulars Romesh Ranganathan, Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp will all appear throughout the series as normal.

However, Romesh will also take on hosting duties in one episode, alongside: sports presenter Clare Balding; show regular David Walliams; sprinter Dina Asher-Smith; and Amanda Holden.

Among the antics taking place in this year's series, Freddie, Jamie and Romesh take a two-day trip to Dartmoor (pictured), joining up with the marines to be taken through an assault course and tasked with abseiling down a treacherous cliff face.

Zai Bennett, Director of Programming for Sky, says: "We're delighted that James is hosting two of the shows this series but appreciate he has other work commitments this year. Therefore, we've got a brilliant line up of guests to keep his seat warm and we have no doubt that our new guest hosts will ensure that the laughs continue."

Guest panellists appearing in Series 14 include boxing superstar Tony Bellew; skiing sensation, Chemmy Alcott; comedians Rob Beckett and Tom Davis; I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here winner Harry Redknapp; gymnast, Max Whitlock; speed skater, Elise Christie; former footballers Alex Scott, David Ginola, Robin van Persie, Jermaine Jenas and Joe Cole; cricket legend, Jimmy Anderson; TV presenter Helen Skelton; and gold medal winner Sam Quek.
