The Chuckle Brothers are to return to television with a new series.
Chuckle Time will see the duo appearing on Channel 5 later this year with 12 hour-long episodes.
Set to be broadcast at Saturday tea-time, the series of "good-natured family entertainment" will mix the duo's own comedy and sketches with a look at some of the funniest clips the internet has to offer.
[z]Channel 5[z] say: "The Chuckle Brothers have spent their lives falling over and making us laugh, and now they are watching us makes fools of ourselves as the public/audience upload fails, flops and funnies onto the internet.
"Each episode sees the brothers curate clips interspersed with bespoke comedy sketches performed by the brothers themselves."
Chuckle Time is expected to be broadcast in the autumn. It is being made by ITV-owned So Television, best known for producing The Graham Norton Show.
Real-life brothers, Paul (70) and Barry (73) Elliot first found fame in the late 1960s. They became a BBC childrens' TV sensation with comedy series ChuckleVision, which began in 1987 and only ended in 2009 after 21 series and 293 episodes.
They have enjoyed cameo appearances in recent years in shows such as Benidorm, Celebrity Juice, Josh and Walliams & Friend. Paul was last seen on screen just days ago, in The Keith & Paddy Picture Show's spoof of Top Gun.
The first three series of ChuckleVision are available to own on DVD.
