The nominees going through to the shortlist for the National Television Awards 2018 prizes have been revealed.

Following an initial round of public voting late in 2017, the annual awards are now open to a second shortlist round, to determine the winners.

Votes can be cast on the official NTAs website.

This year's awards will also see the creation of a new category, The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award, named after the late entertainer, who died last year at the age of 89.

Winners will be revealed at a ceremony on Tuesday 23rd January from 7:30pm, broadcast on ITV from London's O2 Arena. The full comedy-related programme nominations are as follows.
