Comedy Central extends 'Russell Howard & Mum: Road Trip' to Series 4
- Comedy Central has ordered more series of comic travel show Russell Howard & Mum: Road Trip
- The recommissions will take the show up to Series 4. New locations will include Europe and Asia

Comedy Central has confirmed it has ordered more series of Russell Howard & Mum: Road Trip, the TV show in which the stand-up comedian travels with his mother.
Series 2 had already been announced, but today's news extends the show further, up to Series 4.
The channel says: "Following the success of the first series, which smashed ratings records achieving the highest ever 16-34s audience for a UK commission on the channel, and in advance of the second series this autumn, Russell Howard & Mum: Road Trip will return in 2018 for a third and later fourth series."
The network says the new six-part series will see episodes increased in length from 30 to 60 minutes and will "further explore Russell's funny, warm and engaging relationship with his mum, Ninette, as they meet an array of weird and wonderful characters across Northern Europe and Asia."
Russell Howard says: "I can't wait to travel the world with mum again. I'm glad everyone enjoys her brain as much as I do!"

Series 2 of Russell Howard & Mum: Road Trip will be on Comedy Central later this year, with Series 3 and Series 4 shown in 2018. The locations the duo will be visiting will be revealed nearer the time.
