Rylan Clark-Neal is to host an ITV2 panel show pilot.

Codswallop Club is a new format in which team of comedians must convince the other team they're telling the truth, when in fact they're lying. He will be joined by comedian Tom Rosenthal and TV personality Vicky Pattison.

The channel explains: "Rylan Clark-Neal presides over the Codswallop Club - an institution devoted to the art of bluffing.

"Two teams of comedians and celebrities will compete in a series of hilarious games and challenges to see who is the best at convincing their opponents they're telling the truth when in fact they're talking utter Codswallop!"

A pilot episode of Codswallop Club is being recorded in front of a studio audience in London on Sunday 10th July. Tickets

Rylan Clark-Neal is a familiar face to ITV viewers. As well as hosting shows like This Morning he has appeared on comedy panel shows including Celebrity Juice, Celebrity Squares, Reality Bites, Through The Keyhole and Fake Reaction, as well as other ITV comedies such as The Keith Lemon Sketch Show.

There is no news yet on whether the pilot episode of Codswallop Club will be shown on television, or whether it is not intended for broadcast.
