Inbetweeners Simon and Jay reunite for new sitcom

Two of the stars of The Inbetweeners, Joe Thomas and James Buckley, are reportedly reuniting to star in a new comedy project together.
Thomas, who played Simon in the hit sitcom, and Buckley, who played Jay, are set to star in a new sitcom together, according to a report in The Sun newspaper.
The E4 comedy has been written by Damon Beesley, the co-creator of The Inbetweeners.
The Sun says: "Details of the plot are being kept under wraps."
The news was revealed by Buckley via the football podcast he hosts for the newspaper. He revealed: "We'll be filming towards the end of the year. It's going to be set in Essex in the Eighties."
It is not currently clear if the project is a pilot or a series. Further details are expected to be revealed by E4 at a later date.
Earlier in the week it was revealed that James Buckley will be starring in Zapped!, a new fantasy comedy series for channel Dave.
