Would I Lie To You? to record kids special
A special episode of the panel show Would I Lie To You? is to be recorded for Children In Need, with the show booking children as the guests who will be joining the show's three regulars.
Rob Brydon, David Mitchell and Lee Mack will be joined by young members of the public to record the special, which will be aired as part of the BBC's Children In Need night in November.
Producers say: "The special Children In Need guests will remain poker-faced while being cross-examined about real or invented personal stories, all with the ultimate aim of filtering the truth from the fiction. The show is all about stories, cross-examination and the ability both to talk nonsense and to pick holes in someone else's argument."
The special episode will be recorded in the afternoon of Monday 6th June at Pinewood Studios. Apply to be in the audience
This will not be the first time a panel show has been adapted for Children In Need. In 2013, the BBC filmed an episode of Room 101 with children as the guests (watch).
A tenth series of Would I Lie To You? is also currently being filmed, to be shown on BBC One later this year. Speaking at the time of the recommission, the BBC's Pinki Chambers said: "We're delighted to be welcoming Would I Lie To You? back to BBC One. It's hugely popular and just seems to get funnier and funnier. Be prepared for a lot of laughs coming your way!"
