Joel Dommett joins new Sky 1 music panel show Bring The Noise
Sky 1 has cast the final member of the regular team for new show Bring The Noise.
Joel Dommett was confirmed today as the final regular participant in the brand new music-based panel show.
He will appear alongside already confirmed team captain Nicole Scherzinger, playing against Katherine Ryan and her team captain, Tinie Tempah.
The series is to be hosted by Kaiser Chiefs front-man Ricky Wilson, and each team will be joined by celebrity guests each week.
Bring The Noise will inevitably face comparisons from critics to the BBC Two panel show Never Mind The Buzzcocks, which was axed earlier this year after 28 series.
Sky1 say: "Ricky Wilson puts the panel and guests to the test during rounds including music trivia, spoof video parodies and unmissable musical performance battles."
Guests during Series 1 are promised to include David Tennant, Laurence Fox, Game of Thrones star John Bradley, singer Melanie C, actor and musician Martin Kemp and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Foxes. They "face a number of rounds that can focus on anything from the boy-band classics to retro rap masterpieces".
Joel Dommett said today: "I am unbelievably thrilled about the prospect of being a regular comedian on Sky 1's Bring The Noise. I'm sure Nicole Scherzinger is equally as excited at sitting next to me, as I am to her. I have fancied her for so long I know how to spell her name correctly.
"Our pretend enemies are the cool/sexy/funny combo of Tinie Tempah and Katherine Ryan. I'm hoping some of those attributes rub off on me. And of course it's all held together by the excellent charms of Ricky Wilson. I predict a riot (the good kind)."
The eight part series begins on Sky 1 on Thursday 22nd October. To apply to be in the audience see our free tickets page
