Harry and Paul win at Royal Television Society Awards
Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse have won two prizes at The Royal Television Society Awards tonight.
The comedy duo's one-off sketch show Harry And Paul's Story Of The 2s picked up the award for Scripted Comedy, with the team behind the programme also taking home the writing prize.
The duo's spoof of 50 years of BBC Two programming has won a significant number of awards since it was broadcast last year, including multiple British Comedy Awards and a Broadcast Award too.
Following its success, Enfield and Whitehouse are now working on another one-off special, this time to celebrate their "meteoric 25 year rise". An Evening With Harry Enfield And Paul Whitehouse will be broadcast later this year.
As reported earlier today, Harry & Paul are also planning a live comedy tour. Whitehouse said: "Before we die, or before another comedian puts a contract out on us we thought we'd do a live show. Hopefully in the autumn. Mainly in Iceland but we thought we'd do a couple of UK dates."
Other winners at this year's RTS Awards, which spanned the 2013 to 2014 broadcast period, include Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, and Graham Norton
