Further details
Storm the cart horse is ill, and not one pickle or gherkin has been delivered for ages, so Eli has got his eye on a lorry as a replacement.
Storm, along with Stan, look set to be sent off to the knackers yard. There's only one problem - no-one has told Stan!
Having been convinced that a grand send-off is the best medicine, Eli arranges a 'do' in the Spread Eagle with the mayor to present Stan with a lovely gold watch (which Eli buys on the cheap from the pub!).
As always, there's a spanner in the works. The watch turns out to be one pinched from the mayor a year ago at the License Fiddlers Ball!
And what of Storm, you ask? Well, it turns out Storm is a her, not a he, and she wasn't ill, she was pregnant! Pledge's Purer Pickles rings out to the sound of tiny little hooves.
