When Nellie tries to shift Pledge's Picalilli to a prime position at the supermarket, she is charged with shoplifting. Her solicitor outlines her defence - blame Eli!

Further details

Whilst Eli is busy making dumplings, Nellie is being brought home by the local constabulary on a charge of shoplifting, which Nellie claims is a "frame up" as she wasn't shoplifting at all. She was, she insists, shop-putting: namely jars of pickles into the displays! However, she has to be down the magistrates court for 11 o'clock sharp the next morning.

The court's proceedings soon turn into a farce with Nellie recognising one of the clerks of the court as an old school pal. Eli gets dragged into the defence box, and soon finds himself receiving a conditional discharge!
