Murder, They Hope

Gemma and Terry go undercover at a therapy retreat to chase mysterious death threats.

On route to Gemma and Terry's wedding Gemma diverts them to one quick mystery at a couples therapy retreat, where death threats have been received. Despite being undercover, some of the therapy work creates cracks in their relationship and when a member of the group is found dead, Gemma and Terry are unhappily stranded in the moors along with the other guests and an increasing body count.

The cracks really start to show as camp leaders Sandra (Vicki Pepperdine) and Neil (Ramon Tikaram) kickstart their unusual therapy practices. All while Gemma and Terry pay close attention to the other couples - political fanatics Aaron (Hugh Dennis) and Diana (Tamzin Outhwaite), influencer Emma (Danielle Vitalis) and her long-suffering husband Darren (Cole Anderson-James) and parents-of-six Devon (Dan Skinner) and Beatrice (Isy Suttie).

Gemma sees it as a great opportunity to boost her new crime podcast while Terry is gutted to be missing out on the free pre-wedding spa. They must try to solve the case before their relationship is another victim of the trip. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman (Claire Skinner) is lurking in the shadows of the couples retreat and Willy Watkins (Lee Mack) pledges revenge.
