Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing - The Big Boxset: Series 1-5

Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing - The Big Boxset: Series 1-5

The first five series of the hit BBC series. The idea for the show started after Bob Mortimer had a triple heart bypass and Paul, who himself has had a number of stents put in, decided to help him get out of the house and take him fishing.

In each episode the pair head off to do a new location, mostly in the UK but increasingly abroad with Paul taking the role of teacher and Bob irritating him as much as possible, while also cooking up some heart-healthy meals and arranging the accommodation.

Whilst fishing is some glorious and relaxing locations the friends talk about everything, from their childhoods, to things they can't have anymore (cheese and biscuits mostly) as well as life and the effect their health scares have had on them. And then there are the bream, pike, roach, tench, salmon, grayling, rudd who all star across each series.

Not in the UK?

Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.

If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.

If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
