Moody And Pegg - The Complete First Series
Daphne Pegg, finding herself disappointed in love, walks out on her non-relationship with her boss in Bolton and relocates to London. While she is on her way to start her new life, newly divorced antiques dealer Roland Moody has also decided to make the same move. What neither of them anticipates is that a shady estate agent has leased the same flat to both of them... putting them on a collision course to a situation which is, by turns, infuriating, hilarious, and - albeit on very rare occasions - even mutually beneficial...
Moody & Pegg was penned by noted television writers Julia Jones and Donald Churchill (Armchair Theatre, The Duchess Of Duke Street), and stars Judy Cornwell (Keeping Up Appearances) as disillusioned civil servant Daphne and Derek Waring (Z-Cars) as the determinedly carefree Roland. Peter Denyer (Please Sir!), Terence Alexander (Bergerac) and Tony Selby (Get Some In!) also appear in this cleverly scripted, bittersweet comedy-drama from 1974.
