Top 10 Monty Python sketches
The dead parrot routine, The Lumberjack Song and The Ministry of Silly Walks have been voted as the nation's favourite Monty Python sketches.
The results come following a poll of 2000 comedy fans conducted by Gold.
The TV channel will be broadcasting the final performance of Monty Python's live stage show on Sunday 20th July. TV viewers will be able to watch live as John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin perform together for one last time.
Those taking part in the survey were asked to pick their favourite sketch from 35 iconic scenes. The full top 10 is below, with the percentage of the votes shown...

Just missing out on the top ten were the Silly Olympics, Hell's Grannies and Gay Policemen (all with 6%).

Gold's coverage of Monty Python Live (Mostly) on Sunday 20th July will start with a backstage show at 7pm, with the stage show starting at 7:30pm.
