Asbo superhero drama Misfits returns to our screens tomorrow with its blend of sci-fi and sink estate intact. Metro speaks to star Iwan Rheon and writer Howard Overman.

The council-estate superheroes returnfor another series following their confident, Bafta-award-winning debut last year. The imaginative and very funny comedy drama about five teenagers, who are granted peculiar special powers, slips easily into its second season with the remaining gang members mourning the apparent death of Nathan (Robert Sheehan) and contending with the malevolent presence of a shape-shifter.

Preview: Misfits series 2

Last night, I went along to the BFI on London's South Bank to have a sneaky peek at the first episode of the new series of Misfits, which starts next Thursday night on E4. I'm pleased to report that it was absolutely fantastic, taking the thrills, drama, action and comedy of the first series and taking the notch up another level.
