Further details
Married comedians Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont find themselves on opposite career paths. While Jon is looking for a way out of show business, Lucy is offered the biggest gig going - Strictly Come Dancing. Jon investigates the truth behind the Strictly curse and gets the inside track from Cats Does Countdown colleague Rachel Riley, while Lucy meets Anton Du Beke for a practice session. At home, Jon takes new and old neighbours, Phil and Damion, to one of his warm-up gigs to get some honest feedback. But Damion's not convinced that Phil's gushing opinions are genuine.
Meanwhile, Lucy takes her next lesson at Russell Kane's Quiz School and Russell decides she's finally ready for the big one - Celebrity Mastermind.
Jon talks us through the art and science of comedy tour posters before meeting up with Seann Walsh to discuss their joint warm up gig. Jon is determined that nobody ruins the mood by mentioning Strictly in front of Seann for fear of triggering horrible flashbacks of the "curse".
Lucy, Sally Phillips and Kemah Bob struggle to agree on any ideas for their sketch show. Later, Lucy learns the terrible truth about Strictly and Jon tracks down comedy legend Nick Hancock to discover how to find true happiness in life after show business.
