Further details
Alec is determined to be the perfect father and is making the most of his paternity leave to do as much as possible for Fleur. Zoë however rather than being pleased is getting more and more irritated as she hardly has a look in.
At the office Jamie is struggling to keep on top of both his and Alec's workload. Miss Flood is getting very worried about him and is missing having Alec in the office. Alec, after a rather trying time at the supermarket, decides he is missing work but, putting Fleur first, he resolves to keep on.
Zoë decides to use reverse psychology on Alec to get him back to work. She announces she is going back to work and Alec can stay at home and be a househusband. It nearly works but again Alec puts Fleur first and agrees to take a sabbatical. Zoë, now at her wits end, gets a call from Miss Flood and the two plot to get Alec back to work.
On the way back from a night out with Gerald, Miss Flood notices the office lights on. Thinking it Jamie again she goes to get him to go home and finds Alec instead. She tells him that whilst he has been putting his new child first he has been neglecting one of his old children, Jamie. Alec agrees to go back to work.
