Further details

Zoë is finally a free woman. Her divorce from Kevin has finally come through. Alec thinks that this is a time for celebration but Zoë seems to think otherwise and is less than impressed when Alec turns up at her flat in full Scottish dress with a bottle of Champaign and her Decree Nisi. A fight ensues as Alec protests that he thought it was a cause for celebration as they could now put Zoë's marriage behind them and look ahead to their future together.

Zoë is still angry with him but his outburst is enough for her to forgive him and let him spend their first night together. The next day Miles informs Alec that his wife Annabel has left him and run off with a stonemason and that he is going to take time off to go after her and win her back.
