Further details
Alec and Zoë are both looking forward to their first date at the theatre seeing 'Bottoms Up'. Zoë's sister Debbie thinks Zoë is mad to be going out with a man twice her age but Zoë insists she is looking forward to it. Roy thinks the whole thing is hilarious, the idea that Zoë could prefer an aging solicitor to him. Jamie meanwhile has got wind of the fact that his dad is going out with someone and is determined to find out who it is.
Zoë sprains her ankle at work and has to pull out so Alec decides to take Miss Flood even though she hates musicals. After the show Alec and Miss Flood spot Jamie hiding rather obviously in a nearby phone box. Jamie is somewhat shocked to see Miss Flood and his dad out together and he is soon sent packing rather embarrassed.
Encouraged by Miss Flood, Alec decides the next day to go and visit Zoë at her flat with some Roses and a surprise. He had borrowed the Asses head from the show and he sings her one of the songs from the show with it on. As he is doing this Zoë's parent's walk in. Zoë, rather embarrassed introduces them to her solicitor.
