Further details
Alec arranges to meet Zoë for lunch to discuss her divorce. The lunch goes very well as the two discover that they have a shared love of musical theatre. Alec is rather disturbed by the fact that he finds Zoë attractive, after all he's old enough to be her father and thinks maybe he should refer her to another solicitor. Zoë meanwhile is thinking the same. Miles however tells Alec that he should ask Zoë out, after all he reasons Zoë and Alec are both single adults.
Zoë tries to take her mind off Alec by trying to get her sort-of boyfriend and colleague Roy Morgan Jones interested in something rather more cultural than watching rugby by dragging him round an art gallery. Alec's daughter Simone meanwhile has asked him and Jamie to Sunday lunch. Alec is less than impressed when he discovers that she has invited a widow called Mrs Dawlish in the hope that Alec might decide to settle down with her in his latter years. Alec has nothing in common with her however and thanks to a fake phone call from Jamie he manages to escape.
The next day at work Alec comes to a decision. He calls up Zoë and invites her to go with him to the theatre to see a musical version of Midsummer Night's Dream.
