Little Crackers 2011, Episode 3 - Jane Horrocks' Little Cracker

Bad hair and a unique talent are unveiled in a short inspired by the life and times of Jane Horrocks.
Little Crackers. Hairdresser (Jane Horrocks)

Barbra

Jane Horrocks is a big Barbra Streisand fan - she's dazzled by A Star Is Born and can't get enough of its soundtrack. Alas, this fondness for Ms Streisand is taken too far when, against the advice of her hairdresser, 13-year-old Jane opts for a perm. The result is less Babs-channelling bouncy curls, more OAP-esque ringlets. It's not a good look, and what's worse is that the teen has a party to attend (complete with date) and a looming dance show. It's during these testing times, though, that Jane discovers a unique talent and a star really is born.
