Series 1 (2012)

Series 1 launched in November 2012 and was soon regularly attracting more than seven million viewers.

Series 2 (2013)

Series 2 picked up from where Series 1 ended, with Alan regaining consciousness from his heart scare.

Series 4 (2016)

Two episodes in which Celia and Alan are focused on setting the world of amateur dramatics alight. These were originally billed as 'Christmas Specials' but have retrospectively been labelled Series 4.

Series 5 (2020)

Alan and Celia are now seven years into their marriage but, having moved into a desirable bungalow with stunning views across the Calder Valley, they aren't quite seeing eye to eye. It isn't just their differing politics that's a source of tension; Alan's new supermarket job brings an unexpected challenge in the form of a wild local lad, and at Far Slack Farm, Gillian faces trouble with a giraffe.
