Further details

Lady Parts are frustrated and broken as the label begin to interfere with the recording of their debut album - adding extra instrumentation, reworked solos, new mixes. As the band beg Clarice to help them fight back against Lucien, the A&R head who is interfering in their music, Clarice advises them to play along or the label can hold the record hostage. Defeated, the band purge these feelings in recording a new anthem Glass Ceiling Feeling.

Laden with heavy regrets, Saira hunts for Momtaz. Through a long overdue song-writing lesson with Taifa, Saira discovers a thriving warren of alternative musical activity.

Momtaz has found her space and dozens of diverse new acts for her DIY label. The two best friends reconnect - Taz invites Saira to her band showcase, but it's the same night as Lady Parts' album launch.

Meanwhile Ayesha tries to work up the courage to come out to her parents, in order to win Laura back. But a frank exchange with Dirty Mahmood encourages her to prioritise her own sense of security. As the big album launch dawns, Amina realises that she needs to make a grand gesture of her own to win Ahsan back.

However, after a shock switcheroo from the label on the night of album launch, Lady Parts reach a breaking point and boldly decide to reclaim their voice and the greater sisterhood.
