Junior Taskmaster

There's one question on everyone's lips: who'll be the last two little legends to make it through to the first-ever Junior Taskmaster grand final? It's the second semi-final, and the contestants' last chance to impress Rose Matafeo with their task-based tenacity. Our savvy semi-finalists pull no punches as they move caterpillars, play football and partake in some good old-fashioned detective work.

Prize task: The most magnificent metallic item.

Task 1: Work out the following information about this sleeping person without waking them up: 1) Their name. 2) Their age. 3) Their job. 4) Their nationality. 5) Their most recent meal. You have five minutes. Your time starts now.

Task 2: Move the caterpillar safely from the living room table to the leaf on the caravan table. You may only use two items to capture and move the caterpillar, and you must not touch the caterpillar with your hands. You have until the toaster has popped to choose your two items. Only then may you capture the caterpillar, and the caterpillar must be safely moved before the microwave pings. The person who successfully moves the caterpillar and looks after it the best wins. Your time starts now.

Task 3: Pass the time in the most productive way. The person who passes the time in the most productive way wins. You have one minute to plan, and five minutes to be productive. Your time starts now.

- Gwen: Makes lunch, while passing a clock back and forth to Mike. - 3
- Kyra: Makes an award saying she is Mike's favourite Junior Taskmaster contestant, and gets Mike to present it to her. - 2

Live task: Throw a ball of wet loo roll at Mike's moustache. The person whose wet loo roll lands the furthest away from Mike's moustache in each round will be eliminated. There is a bonus point for the most direct hit.
