Junior Taskmaster

Rose Matafeo is Young Taskmaster, with Mike Wozniak as her loyal assistant, as young people aged 9 to 11 bring their fledgling wiles, athleticism and creativity to the game that recognises genius at any age. In Heat One, pint-sized contestants Anita, Lazer, Nyarah, Persia and Reuben sniff mashed potato and throw a plethora of items into a large hat, in the hope of making it through to the semi-finals.

Task 3: Hit this target in the most impressive way. You have 15 minutes. Your time starts now.

- Anita: Makes the target look like its covered in blood, gets Mike to stab the target with an umbrella, and Anita makes it look like Mike ripped off her finger. - 5
- Persia: Throws an eggshell filled with toy eggs and covered in shaving foam and googly eyes. - 4
- Nyarah: Spins, does cartwheels and then throws a ball at the target. - 3
- Lazer: Throws eggs and squirts paint all over the target. - 2
- Reuben: Uses an umbrella with a googly eye on the end. - 1

Live task: Sit silently with your eyes shut for 30 seconds, then wave and smile at Rose for 30 seconds, then lie on the floor and pretend to swim for 30 seconds. Most accurate 30 second average wins.
