Joe Lycett's United States Of Birmingham

Joe's voyage to all the Birminghams finishes in Birmingham Alabama, the biggest US Brum of the trip. He explores the city's industrial heritage, its civil rights history and hooks up with a local comedian who introduces him to soul food. He takes to the stage at Birmingham's oldest comedy club, reflecting on his mission to unite the Birminghams of the world. Finally, he returns to his own Birmingham, joined by some famous Brummie faces and new American friends, to celebrate the International Day of Birmingham, a day Joe has invented to mark the historical creation of the United States of Birmingham.
